As of April 17, 2025, plug-and-play devices may be connected in Belgium
On 17/10/2024, an updated edition (edition 2.3) of the technical prescription C10/11 (connection of distributed generation installations) was published. In this edition, the requirement for a fixed connection was removed. This primarily impacts balcony PV systems and small mobile batteries with domestic plugs, but also bi-directional on-board chargers for electric vehicles, and for example, mobile generators for construction sites and events.
As of 17/10/2024, manufacturers of plug-and-play devices can submit a C10/26 approval application, and as of 17/04/2025, C10/26-approved plug-and-play devices may be connected to an electrical installation. More information via this Newsletter (NL-FR-EN).
